The Teller County Farmers Market Association seeks a Market Manager for the
Woodland Park Farmers Market. This is a year-round, part-time, paid position. Preferred candidates will be full-time residents of Teller County with a public spirit and a commitment to the Woodland Park community. Candidates should have an interest in, or familiarity with, farmers markets and the community benefits of access to healthy food. Good organizational and communication skills are needed. Grant writing and good internet/computer skills are a bonus.
This is a contract position based and paid on an expected average of 80 hours/monthly year-round. It has varied tasks and time constraints in different
seasons. The summer market season is June through September every Friday.
There is also one indoor Holiday Market in November. Most of the market manager’s duties center on preparation for the summer season (Jan-May) and managing all operations of the on-site summer market (June-Sept and Nov),
though there are some off-season or year-round tasks. The manager reports to the President of the Board of Directors (and attends regular board meetings),
with the Board president being the manager’s direct report.
